Reverse osmosis
Best for: maximum purity
A membrane removes dissolved solids carbon can’t catch — the most thorough drinking-water fix.

What does reverse osmosis remove?
The membrane catches dissolved solids that carbon can’t — lead, cysts, chlorine taste and odor, and more, depending on staging. We’ll show you the spec sheet for the exact system we recommend.
Does RO waste water?
Some water goes to drain while the membrane filters; modern 4-stage systems are far more efficient than older units, and a clean install keeps it to a minimum.
How often do filters and the membrane need changing?
Cartridges roughly once a year; the membrane every two to three years. A maintenance plan keeps it automatic so flow and taste stay strong. See our water filtration overview for the full picture.
Can you install RO in my existing sink?
Almost always — we drill granite, quartz, or stainless cleanly, or use an existing sprayer or soap hole. That’s plumber work, and it’s what we do.
